The Story of

Where The River Flows Productions

Where the River Flows Productions began as an idea that came about after pianist Andrea Molina recorded a performance at the Betty Jayne Brimmer Center for the Performing Arts in Peoria Heights, Illinois in May of 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. A friend listening to the recording that night said to Andrea, “You know, people would receive healing just from listening to you play.”

During the stay-at-home order, Andrea had been reading about quantum physics, and particularly about light and sound. Within forty-eight hours of the recording session, Andrea was struck by the idea to record piano at A432 Hz and layer the recording with soothing visuals and nature sounds. What made this unique is that the recording would experiment with the tuning of an acoustic piano. Most of the A432 Hz recordings available today are synthesized.

By the beginning of June, Andrea had met with Scarlet Daoud, a radio frequency, wireless, and microwave engineer, to learn more about sound frequencies and how these frequencies affect the natural world. Andrea arranged to record an improvised piece of music at the A432 Hz tuning at the end of June. The audio from the performance was recorded by sound engineer Kenneth Beard and Hoop House Creative (Connor Parkhurst) documenting the event with video. Andrea had assembled a prayer team, which was present on location, to pray over the event. Andrea asked Creator to show her images, to let her hear them the way He heard them. She then went to the keyboard and played for fifty-five continuous minutes until she felt that it was complete.

As Andrea and Kenneth began to edit the recording, the topic came up…what should we call this? Kenneth’s wife Laurel gave it the name “Where the River Flows”, from the second part of Ezekiel 47:9; “…where the river flows, everything will be restored and able to live.” The primary purpose of the company is to produce “Art that Heals” in ways that combine music, storytelling, and the utilization of acoustic instruments tuned to A432.
